The Light House is an organziation that helps foster children on their first day of foster care. We are currently starting to offer classes for life skills and emotional regulation activities to help foster children while they are in foster care. One of those classes is for Art therapy. We would love an art therapist to volunteer their time, but it is not a requirement to help. The classes would be every other Saturday starting Nov 1st from 10am-12pm with an hour of set up and clean up. If you have your own curriculum, we can discuss what you have and will probably use it, but if you don't we are looking into resources for this class.
If you are interested, please email us at info@thelighthousedenver.org or if you want more information on our cause, please visit our website at thelighthousedenver.org.
