Are you passionate about social media and community engagement. We're looking for a dynamic and creative Volunteer Social Media Specialist to help us amplify our program. Marketing and Social Media students, and those with prior experience would be ideal for this position. This is for the entire State of Idaho.
Long-Term Care Ombudsman social media volunteers help us to interact with the public and community partners to help tell the Ombudsman story and to educate seniors on their rights. To get the word out across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and others.
Establishing and/or maintaining active social media accounts. Researching and creating creative content and identifying opportunities. You'll create engaging content for our social media platforms, interact with our followers, and build our presence.
Capture the Moment: Attend our monthly event to capture live content, ensuring our YouTube post captures our meetings professionally.
Drive Participation: Use your creativity and social media skill to increase awareness and participation in our monthly online zoom meetings an other community events.
Time Commitment: Flexible 10 hour mimium monthly.
Training Required: We provide the training for Long-Term Care Ombudsman Certification.
Community Connection: Be a part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of our precious Seniors.
Flexibility and Support: Enjoy a flexible volunteer schedule and a supportive team environment. We appreciate the time and effort our volunteers give and are here to support you in making a real impact.
Creating Media: Power Point Presentations, Zoom Meeting slides and post meeting editing, Flyers, Newsletters etc.
This is a volunteer position ideal for someone looking to increase their experience in social media and marketing while making a meaningful social impact.
Must be an Idaho resident
