Recruiting Organization: San Francisco Vegan Society

Responsibilities:

• General administration and strategic planning of SFVS
• Gather and chair SFVS Board Meetings
• Oversee SFVS’s organizational and special events fundraising efforts
• Oversee the planning and execution of SFVS’s participation in Earth Day and San Francisco Pride
• Oversee the planning and execution of SFVS’s annual World Vegan Fest
• Oversee the planning and execution of SFVS’s monthly gatherings (community outreach, group dinners, cooking demos, lectures, film screenings, etc.)
• Manage SFVS’s social media and other communications

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of advocacy in the vegan movement
• Event organizing experience
• Volunteer organizing experience
• Fundraising experience
• Communications experience
