Advanced Hospice here looking for Volunteers! If you can talk, play games or watch movies this volunteering opportunity may be for you! Companionship is a lot of what we are looking for. We have many volunteer opportunities in the Reno/Sparks area as well as surrounding towns.

Description
Be a part of our team making a difference with lives around you. All of our volunteers will never do anything medical related. We are looking for people willing to visit patients in group homes, private homes and facilities. The different activities that can be done during volunteering is: Companionship Talking with patients Reading Playing games
Painting Grocery shopping Music therapy Pet therapy Run errands
Respite care Clerical work at our hospice office Assist with certain community events we are involved in. Respite is when you would sit with a patient while their family member goes to their own doctor appointment, shopping, etc. We focus on what YOU do best to help others in need around your community!
