Join Us for the National MS Society's Annual Bike MS: Georgia Peach Ride!
The National MS Society is hosting our Annual Bike MS: Georgia Peach Ride, with the event starting and finishing in LaGrange, GA. Cyclists will ride up to 100 miles each day, stopping at various rest stops along the route.
Event Details:
- Dates: September 14th
- Start/Finish: LaGrange, GA
- Participants: Over 300 cyclists expected
- REST STOP LOCATION - HEARD COUNTY FIRE STATION SIX
We rely on our amazing volunteers to ensure the success of events like these!
Volunteer Opportunity: Rest Stop Support
As a rest stop volunteer, you will:
- Serve drinks and food to cyclists
- Provide moral support and encouragement
- Occasionally assist with lifting supplies, setting up and packing away
We provide all the necessary instructions, supplies, and equipment-you just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help!
Why Volunteer? Volunteers are the backbone of our event. By joining the Bike MS Volunteer Team, you’ll not only support our cyclists but also contribute to raising funds and making a difference in the lives of people living with MS.

The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is to mobilize people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS.
Description
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and fifty-state network of chapters, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.
Seeking out and engaging volunteers to the MS cause is at the very core of our business. Each year the Society organizes a series of community events that provide many opportunities for the enthusiastic volunteer. The Society offers three key fundraising activities: The Bike MS, Walk MS and Challenge Walk MS. The Society also engages volunteers to help influence law-makers at the federal, state and municipal levels toward legislation important to people with MS. The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.
