Job Overview:

As a Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist, you will be instrumental in enhancing our associates’ skills, knowledge, and professional development. You will design, implement, and evaluate training programs that align with our strategic goals and support associates’ growth across various departments. This role requires a passion for learning, strong instructional design capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department heads and HR to assess training needs and develop learning objectives.
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective training programs using a variety of instructional techniques and formats (e.g., workshops, e-learning modules, simulations).
  • Create and update training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
  • Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, metrics, and analysis.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
  • Support the implementation of performance management processes and succession planning initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of career paths and competency frameworks.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Proven experience as an L&D Specialist, Training Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and instructional design software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
