We are Emboldening the Youth, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to improving literacy rates in immigrant communities and amongst children. We currently are looking for the following unpaid volunteer based positions, LONG TERM only(1+ year). Time commitments for the roles are as follows :
Vice chair(1 hour/week commitment)
Assists president in duties, such as looking for new partnerships, new ways to expand, and fulfills president duties when absent.
Secretary(1 hour/week commitment)
Assures all documents pertaining to org are filled , and holds volunteers responsible for tasks
Treasurur(1 hour/weel commitment)
Assists in preparing annual report, ensures legal forms are filled.
Director of Expansion - In charge of expanding our nonprofit to new centers/states Director of Fundraising - In charge of holding fundraisers with school/community to fundraise for our nonprofitIf interested and only if can commit time, email as13945@nyu.edu a resume, and a cover letter

\We are a student run organization, dedicated to improving literacy rates in title 1 schools across the NYC boroughs. We are looking for long term tutors and mentors, who are good with working with students. Timings and school locations are listed below
