July 8th- August 1st. 12:30pm-2pm, Monday- Thursday

Program Description:

IRCO’s School-Based Programs support youth and families through site-specific community school services. We support children, youth and families through their neighborhood schools by providing a rich array of extended day programming, food and resource support, Kindergarten readiness, parent leadership, and family engagement. Our 20 SUN Community Schools serve as resource hubs across Multnomah County empowering communities through their schools.

Position Summary:

Join our vibrant elementary school summer program as a Summer Art Activities Support Volunteer! In this role, you will assist with setting up engaging art activities, support students during the activities, and help ensure a smooth and efficient clean-up process afterward. Additionally, you will provide extra support to classroom leaders, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all participating students. This position is perfect for those enthusiastic about working with children and passionate about art.

Experience working with youth or an interest in working with youth.

Enthusiastic with a positive attitude!


Must be 18 or older

Must pass background check

Time Commitment:

The summer program will run from July 8th- August 1st
