  • Governance and Leadership

    • Participate in board meetings.
    • Provide strategic guidance
  • Financial Oversight

    • Review and approve budget and financial reports.
    • Assist in fundraising and identify funding sources.
  • Advocacy and Outreach

    • Promote HelperHand.org within personal networks.
    • Foster relationships with stakeholders.
  • Policy and Program Development

    • Provide input on program development and evaluation.
    • Ensure alignment with mission and community needs.
  • Executive Oversight

    • Collaborate on organizational goals and objectives.
    • Mentor and guide the leadership team.

  • Commitment and Engagement

    • Attend and board meetings and committee assignments.
    • Serve on at least one committee.
  • Ethical Standards

    • Adhere to high ethical conduct and integrity.
    • Avoid and disclose conflicts of interest.
    • Maintain confidentiality of board discussions.

Translation Services: Helping understand important papers in different languages.

Apartment Searches: Helping find affordable places to live and fill out rental forms.

Financial Counseling: Personal help with managing money, like understanding credit.

Healthcare Access: Helping find doctors and understand health insurance.
