STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
We are expanding our programming to industry-specific, hands-on experiences. We require a Internship Manager for Medical Science Academy to help us keep the momentum going in support of the growth and development of these programs. We ask you to join us in continuing to service the youth in our community.
Time Commitment: 3 - 6 hours per week for 3-4 months.
Start Date: Immediate
Location:STEM Montessori Academy of Canada(Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain internship program structure, including objectives, timelines, and evaluation processes.
  • Establish partnerships with medical institutions, research facilities, and educational organizations to secure internship placements.
  • Coordinate with schools and universities to promote the program and recruit interns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for interns, mentors, and partner organizations.
  • Monitor intern progress, provide guidance, and resolve any issues that arise during the internship.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and networking events for interns.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations pertaining to internships.
  • Manage program budget and resources effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a medical science field.
  • Experience in educational program management or coordination.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in digital tools for remote collaboration and program management.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring and developing young talent.
