STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
We are expanding our programming to industry-specific, hands-on experiences. We require a Workshop and Contest Manger For Medical Science Academy to help us keep the momentum going in support of the growth and development of these programs. We ask you to join us in continuing to service the youth in our community.
Time Commitment: 3 - 6 hours per week for 3-4 months.
Start Date: Immediate
Location:STEM Montessori Academy of Canada(Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement workshops and contests focused on medical sciences for students across Canada.
  • Collaborate with STEM professionals to develop educational content that aligns with current curricular standards.
  • Coordinate with educational institutions for the scheduling and hosting of workshops.
  • Manage the promotion and advertising of events to ensure broad participation.
  • Handle the registration process, including participant tracking and communication.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from participants to improve future events.
  • Ensure compliance with STEM Canada’s policies and educational objectives.
  • Work with the STEM Canada team to integrate events into the broader educational framework.
  • Utilize digital project management tools to organize and execute events effectively.

Qualifications

  • A genuine interest in STEM education and community service.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience in educational event planning is an asset.
  • Proficiency in digital communication and project management software.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian education system and STEM initiatives is preferred
