STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
We are expanding our programming to industry-specific, hands-on experiences. We require a Content Manager for Medical Science Academy to help us keep the momentum going in support of the growth and development of these programs. We ask you to join us in continuing to service the youth in our community.
Time Commitment: 3 - 6 hours per week for 3-4 months.
Start Date: Immediate
Location:STEM Montessori Academy of Canada(Remote)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and curate engaging and informative content for our online platforms, including articles, blog posts, newsletters, and social media posts.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Manage the content calendar and ensure timely publication of materials.
  • Edit and proofread content produced by other team members or volunteers.
  • Analyze content performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in medical science education and incorporate them into content strategy.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Education, or a related field. A background in medical sciences or healthcare is a plus.
  • Proven experience in content creation, management, and strategy.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in digital publishing platforms and SEO principles.
  • Passion for STEM education and a commitment to volunteer service.
