STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. The STEM programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math.
We are expanding our programming to industry-specific, hands-on experiences. We require an Online Classified Manager for the Coding Academy to help us keep the momentum going in support of the growth and development of these programs. We ask you to join us in continuing to service the youth in our community.

Time Commitment: 3 - 6 hours per week for 3-4 months.

Location:STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (Remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Create and post ads for the academy’s programs, events, and volunteer opportunities on various online classified platforms (e.g., , Indeed, local community boards).
  • Regularly update and maintain active listings to ensure information is current and accurate.
  • Develop engaging and informative ad content that effectively communicates the benefits of the academy’s offerings.
  • Ensure all ad content is consistent with the academy’s branding and messaging.
  • Conduct research to identify the most effective classified platforms and opportunities for reaching target audiences.
  • Stay updated on trends and best practices in online classified advertising.
  • Monitor the performance of classified ads, including views, clicks, and conversions.
  • Analyze data to optimize ad performance and improve future listings.
  • Respond to inquiries and comments on classified ads in a timely and professional manner.
  • Engage with potential students and volunteers through online platforms to build interest and drive participation.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure classified ads align with overall marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Coordinate with program managers to gather detailed and accurate information for listings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in online advertising, digital marketing, or classified ad management.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of online classified platforms and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to track ad performance.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles is a plus.
