STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. The STEM programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math.
We are expanding our programming to industry-specific, hands-on experiences. We require a Curriculum Manager for the Coding Academy to help us keep the momentum going in support of the growth and development of these programs. We ask you to join us in continuing to service the youth in our community.

Time Commitment: 3 - 6 hours per week for 3-4 months.
Start Date: Immediate
Location:STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (Remote)


Responsibilities:
Design and develop coding curriculum for various skill levels and age groups.
Update existing courses to ensure content remains current and relevant
Review and evaluate curriculum content for accuracy, effectiveness, and educational value.
Incorporate feedback from instructors, students, and industry experts to continuously improve curriculum quality.
Create and manage a repository of educational resources, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
Ensure all materials are accessible and user-friendly for both instructors and students.
Work closely with program managers and instructors to align curriculum with program objectives and teaching methods.
Coordinate with the content manager to integrate multimedia and interactive elements into the curriculum.
Provide training and support to instructors on the curriculum and teaching best practices.
Develop guidelines and documentation to assist instructors in delivering the curriculum effectively.
Develop assessment tools to measure student progress and curriculum effectiveness.
Prepare reports on curriculum performance and make recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Instructional Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of educational principles and instructional design methodologies.
Proficiency in coding languages and technologies relevant to the academy’s courses.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging educational materials.
Passionate about education and technology.
Detail-oriented and committed to quality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a diverse
team.
