We are a Nonprofit that has been in existence for three years, we are scaling up the business to include several sites on the southside of Chicago, we train our clients in Culinary art and STEAM courses, as well as work with Community developers to create affordable housing space in the fall of 2024, Our training lead to Industrial recognized certification and mid-level Job entrance.

Our Executive Director is looking for an assistant director and a treasurer, the role of the assistant director will be to work with the Director in strategic planning, partnership development, events coordination, and monthly calendar schedule for subcommittee meetings. The Treasurer's responsibility will be to create budgets for all training programs and events. Managed business Banking to maintain a balanced ledger and ensure we comply with government grant guidelines

The Davenport Community Development Group is a non-profit Community development company, operating on the Southside of Chicago, we train individuals in the Culinary Arts, and STEAM programs and Offer individuals access to affordable Housing. All of our training programs offer industrial-recognized certifications, Our newly implemented housing program gives information to those interested in purchasing new Homes, in the form of government and locate bank programs. We also work with housing developers to connect with potential investors and home buyers.
