Hospice Volunteers Needed- Orland Park

ORGANIZATION: Family Home Health Network

We are in need of caring individuals to become hospice volunteers and visit with terminally ill patients in Orland Park. Volunteers make a difference in the lives of patients by providing companionship, comfort, emotional support and a friendly presence. Engaging with patients may include activities such as reading to a patient, listening to music or watching TV together, being a supportive presence as a veteran is honored, or simply being a good listener as a patient reminisces. We deeply appreciate the work our volunteers do!

We provide full training and ongoing support, and most of the training can be done in the comfort of your home. We are flexible with volunteer hours, and our volunteer coordinator will be with you at your first patient visit.

All questions are welcome! Find out if hospice volunteering is for you.
