Estimated 4-6 hours of vounteer time a month.

Exeperience in Quickbooks Desktop and Excel required

Ongoing work will consist of:

• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using a designated accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Reconcile bank statements monthly and investigate any discrepancies
• Track income and expenses against the budget and report variances to management.
• Assist with year-end closing procedures and preparation for the annual audit.
• Secure and safeguard all financial data in accordance with best practices.
• May participate in payroll processing and tax preparation with oversight from a qualified professional.

Qualifications:

• Experience with bookkeeping principles and a strong understanding of debits and credits is preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is preferred.
