If you are passionate about mental health advocacy and want to make a difference in Ashe, Avery and Watauga Counties, NC we encourage you to apply as a board member or volunteer with NAMI High Country.

Board Member - Join a working board of directors actively particpating in NAMI High Country's daily activites. It is a governing board with additonal responsibilites: Directors perform their strategic and fiduciary duties as well as particpate in the organization's day-to-day functions.

Committee Members - Join committees focused on education, advocacy, funding, or outreach. Your involvement will drive specific initiatives that are crucial to our mission.

Event Support - Assist with organizing and executing events that raise awareness and fundraising for mental health education and support programs.

Program Volunteers - Get involved in delivering educational programs, support groups that directly benefit individuals and families.

NAMI provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness an build better lives. As we continue to grow, we're looking for mission-driven professionals to join our board and facilitate our programs.
