Do you have the super power where you can easily be-friend another person? Do you have compassion for others? Can you spare 4 hours a month? If you answered "yes" to the above, then I have the perfect Volunteer Team for you to join! SouthernCare New Beacon is seeking companion volunteers to spare some time interacting socially with our patients in Hospice.

SouthernCare New Beacom is looking for individuals that strive to give back to their community while working on behalf of others. It’s a way to improve a family’s stress, patients’ social relations and a volunteer’s sense of compassion. A volunteer does go through an application process, a background check, a drug screen, and some training which is reasonable as our patients are our priority. Volunteering takes no advanced medical training or hands on direct care.

If you are looking for a way to make a positive influence in the lives of others, you belong here!
