Traditions Health in Ridgeland, MS has several opportunities to become a friendly neighbor with your servant heart! We are looking for volunteers who would like to sit with patients for a few hours to give their caregiver a break.
Caregiver burnout is REAL! We like to help our families and as well as ur patients. Friendly neighbor gives the caregivers a chance to step out of the house for a short amount of time and do something for themselves such as going to the grocery store, have lunch with a friend and so much more.
Becoming a friendly neighbor means you can sit with the patient and watch tv, read a book, or just being the eyes for the caregiver while the patient is sleeping. You will find that caregivers appreciate the break more than words can ever describe.
