We are seeking individuals with professional training in Hairdressing, Cosmetology, or Nail Technology who are willing to dedicate time to our end-of-life Hospice care patients. A timely haircut or attentive grooming can provide immense dignity to our patients as they navigate their limitations. THE MAIN FOCUS FOR VOLUNTEERS IS ON 1:1 VISITS, WITH SOME PROVIDING COMPANIONSHIP, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, SPIRITUAL SUPPORT, MUSIC, PET THERAPY, SUPPORTIVE CALLS TO FAMILY, BIOGRAPHY WRITING, VETERAN RECOGNITION AND OTHER SUPPORTIVE EFFORTS.
