Position Title: Pre-Professional Student Experience

Location: Serving Communities Throughout Ohio (Central Ohio, Dayton Region, and Toledo Region)

Position Summary:
We are seeking empathetic and dedicated students to join our team of hospice volunteers. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain valuable experiences in the healthcare setting, develop rapport building skills, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families. Whether you're a high school senior who is wanting to study pre-med or an adult learner who is going back to school for their BSN, your insights and intuition will truly help our team grow. We welcome any students in any field of study who are looking for ways to give back to their community and grow their pre-professional experiences.

Responsibilties:
- Provide companionship and social support to patients, engaging in conversation, reading, or being present in the moment
- Assist family caregivers with running errands, household tasks, and so on
- Support office staff with administrative tasks such as filing, phone calls, and organization
- Special project participation can be widely varied from helping with legacy projects to assisting with events and developing educational materials
