Burnsville Summer Produce Distribution
ORGANIZATION: 360 Communities
Please visit the new page to apply.

Would you like to fight hunger and meet new people in your community this summer? Join our produce team in Burnsville this summer!
360 Communities will offer a free drive-up produce distribution event at our Burnsville Resource Center this summer where clients can come and pick up a box of fresh produce each Wednesday.
We are looking for volunteers in Burnsville each Wednesday from July 9th through September 17th from 11 am - 3:30 pm. Your role would involve lifting and packing boxes, greeting clients, and ensuring the smooth operation of the produce distribution. This is an excellent opportunity to get out in the community, interact with people, and spend some time outside!
Last year, our Summer Produce Distribution volunteers connected about 1,800 households with around 79,000 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables! We would love to have you join us this year to continue connecting families to this resource!
*Background checks are required, but having a criminal background does not automatically disqualify you from volunteering. Potential volunteers will have the option and opportunity to provide context around anything that may come up on a background check before we run the background check.
If you are interested, please reach out to Amara Robinson, the Volunteer Manager at 360 Communities to learn more. You can reach Amara at arobinson@360communities.org or 952-985-4017.
