Job description:
We’re looking for a talented and driven Social Media Marketing assistant to join our team at Washington Autism Alliance (WAA.) The Social Media assistant will support the Community Engagement team to curate and create excellent relevant content; post and monitor four social media channels for engagement and analytics.
Responsibilities
● Maintain and promote engaging discussions on the WAA Facebook, linkedIn, Instagram and Twitter pages with images and content.
● Maintain the existing blog and ensure current, relevant information is posted regularly.
● Post relevant content to the 4 social media channels and build followers of the organization. ● Prepares the monthly email newsletter with images and content.
Qualifications
● Social Media familiarity: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and other social media interfaces
● Search Engine Optimization (SEO) familiarity
● Online Marketing knowledge and experience
● Graphic Web design (Canva) skills are not required but desired
● History of volunteering and passion for helping others
Time Commitment is 20 hours per week. All WAA volunteers must be available to attend a monthly planning meeting.
