Mujeres de la Tierra firmly believes that equitable access to open and natural spaces is pivotal to overcoming other deep-seated racial inequities across LA County. We’ll be accompanying 50 children and families to enjoy a day at Zuma Beach. Families will have the opportunity to learn how to boogie board/surf with the guidance of Color the Water. There will be interactive activities and a presentation from Mujeres on plastic pollution. Prior to our beach day trip community members will enjoy a presentation of aquarium on wheels led by Aquarium of the Pacific Long Beach.
