We are looking for experienced, skilled and passionate individuals to join our team!

The Head of Onboarding, also known as the Onboarding Manager or Director of Onboarding, is responsible for overseeing and managing the onboarding process for new volunteers within the organization. Their primary goal is to ensure that new hires are smoothly integrated into the organization, feel welcomed, and become productive members of the team as quickly and efficiently as possible.

General Responsibilities & Duties of Head of Onboarding:

  • Develop and implement an effective onboarding strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and culture
  • Design and continuously improve onboarding programs and processes to enhance the new hire experience
  • Oversee the execution of the onboarding program, ensuring it is delivered consistently across the organization
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure that all necessary onboarding activities are completed
  • Plan and conduct orientation sessions to introduce new hires to the company’s culture, values, policies, and procedures
  • Develop and coordinate training timeline with team and department leads that help new hires acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles
  • Ensure training materials are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of new volunteers
  • Assign mentors or buddies to help new employees navigate the organization and feel supported
  • Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner, including volunteer contracts and agreements
  • Collect feedback from new hires and managers about the onboarding process to identify areas for improvement
  • Use feedback to refine and enhance onboarding programs and ensure they meet the evolving needs of the organization
  • Work closely with the Head of Recruitment and other departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
  • Track and analyze key onboarding metrics to measure the success of the onboarding program
  • Provide ongoing support to new volunteers during their initial months to address any questions or concerns
  • Lead all offboarding processes and efforts

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to work with multiple Google Suite applications (Docs, Spreadsheets, Gmail)
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written, with internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner; ability to communicate in multiple languages preferred
  • Time management is key. Organizational skills are a MUST .
  • Good communication skills.
  • Approachable and must carry in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

By providing home remodeling, clean energy and technology for families with limited resources we believe it will open doors to the green economy. We partnered with incentive providers such as municipalities, financial institutions businesses and contractors to expedite the electrification of all buildings with minimal cost as possible to the owner. Our programs give communities the opportunity to reduce energy bills, increase property values, bridge the digital divide and compete in an emerging economy.
