If you are comfortable interacting with the public and have a friendly personality, Saco River Theatre needs you! We are scheduling volunteers for our summer season and would love for you to join our team! No experience is necessary, we’ll train you.
Saco River Theatre is a 501c3 non-profit small professional theatre located in Bar Mills.
Our volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Saco River Theatre relies on the dedication, expertise, and courtesy of our volunteer team to provide our patrons with the level of quality experiences they have come to enjoy and expect! Your welcoming smile and helpful information are what make people feel at home and excited to come back.
Concession volunteers are responsible for setting up the concession table prior to the shows, selling concessions before the show, during intermission, and putting away concessions after the show. We serve beverages including water, soda, coffee tea, beer/wine, and also snacks.
We'll put you to work 90 minutes before the show starts, during intermission, and after the show putting away concessions. Volunteering grants you and a guest a complimentary seat to the given show!

Through our professional Equity theater, music venue, cross-disciplinary arts lab and exhibition space, we celebrate creativity and plant the seeds of shared experience.
Description
We are a 501c3 Non-profit Arts Organization that produces three professional theatrical productions per year, as well as concerts featuring local and internationally known musicians. We also host art exhibits, dances, and guest performers. We are dedicated to welcoming our community to share and experience the arts, regardless of their ability to pay. Our ticket prices of $15 to all events are the lowest of any professional company in the state and we were the first theatre in the state to offer pay-what-you-like play performances on Thursday nights.
