Do you enjoy meeting people and are you passionate about the Missouri River? Apply to be a Visitor Outreach Volunteer and help build connections with visitors at community events along the Missouri National Recreational River!


When: Year-Round, but mostly during the summer season (May-September)

Where: Community events all along the Missouri National Recreational River

What: Visitor Outreach Volunteers work alongside park rangers at community events where we have a table/booth or our Mobile Ranger Station. They will provide outreach for the park by talking with visitors, sharing information about the park’s resources, and answering questions. Prospective volunteers should enjoying meeting and talking with people of all different backgrounds!

Why: Visitor Outreach Volunteers can meet new people and network, advocate for park resources, gain interpretive experience, attend lots of fun local events, and more!

Start Date - 2024-07-01

End Date - 2024-10-31

Activities include: Conservation Education;General Assistance;Tour Guide/Interpretation;Visitor Information
