The National Black MBA Association, Chicago Chapter is seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our committees. By volunteering, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to create educational and economic growth opportunities for African Americans.

Available Committees:

* Marketing & Communications: Develop and implement strategies to enhance our chapter’s visibility and engagement within the community.

* Membership: Drive initiatives to recruit, retain, and engage members, ensuring they receive value and support from our organization.

* Outreach: Foster relationships with external organizations and the community to promote our programs and initiatives.

* Partnerships: Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate partners and sponsors to support our events and programs.

* Professional Development: Help design and deliver programs that enhance the career growth and skills of our members.

* Entrepreneurship: Support aspiring and current entrepreneurs through resources, workshops, and networking opportunities.

* Education: Coordinate educational programs and scholarship opportunities to support academic advancement within our community.

Mission Statement

The mission of the National Black MBA Association is to lead in the creation of educational, wealth-building, and growth opportunities for those historically underrepresented throughout their careers as students, entrepreneurs, and professionals.

Description

Increase the number of successful African American professionals in the business community. The CCNBMBAA is a professional organization that serves as a resource for communicating information and ideas among Black Executives, Entrepreneurs, Educators, and Students in the Chicago area who are interested in improving the effectiveness of Black businesses and Black business professionals. The goals and objectives of the CCNBMBAA are:

  1. Establish and maintain an effective information and communications network which will serve the membership and the business community.
  2. Provide continuing business education as a means of improving and maintaining the skills and effectiveness of the members and support the efforts of those planning to pursue advanced business degrees.
  3. Provide scholarships for those intending to pursue business-related degrees.
  4. Encourage scholarly research in those areas of business which affect the Black community.
  5. Provide a service to the community, whenever requested, managerial and technical assistance to Black Entrepreneurs and businesses.
