elcoming Committee is our AWESOME team of volunteers who help keep our front office area running. Welcoming Committee is in charge of just that - welcoming clients to the Humane Society and making them feel like a part of the family while they search for a new companion.
Duties may include:
- Answering phones and directing calls
- Welcoming guests when they come in and helping them sign in to walk around
- Walking guests to rooms to see animals
- Various office tasks
When volunteering as the Welcoming Committee, it is not required for you to volunteer for the entire shift. You're able to build your schedule based off your availability on that day.
