The Box Factory for the Arts in Saint Joseph, Michigan has volunteer opportunities throughout the year. We are always looking for individuals interested in a long-term scheduled volunteer shift or one-off event support. We're managed by the Berrien Artist Guild.

Specific need areas include:
  • Front Desk Reception (Wednesday-Sunday, hours vary but typically 10am-4pm, 7pm on Thursdays)
  • Special Event/ Performance Support

Mission Statement

The Berrien Artist Guild's home is the Box Factory for the Arts, which exists to support established and emerging artists and to enrich the surrounding community through a multi-disciplinary, collaborative and vibrant gathering place that nurtures, celebrates and promotes all creative arts.

Description

The Box Factory for the Arts provides Southwest Michigan residents, visitors and artists the opportunity to view free quality art exhibits. With a large performance space the community can also attend events and performances centered around the arts. It is a popular destination for artistic learning, sharing, socialization and fun. The Art Market gift shop sells quality local and regional artists’ work.

Housed in a welcoming historic building in St. Joseph, Michigan, the Box Factory is brimming with clusters of enthusiastic people who are participating in an abundance of creative, diverse and artistic experiences.
