Mission Statement

Jobseekers Network, dba Quest Youth Development's Mission is to strengthen communities by equipping youth and families with tools and resources through direct services that will reduce, eliminate, or prevent at risk behaviors that lead to mental health issues, generational cycles of poverty, and incarceration.

Description

Jobseekers Network is the parent company that holds the nonprofit charitable 501c3 and provides operational and board support for Quest Youth Development. Jobseekers Network was established in March 2017 and began rebranding efforts to Quest Youth Development in June of 2022. Currently, Quest Youth Development is in the process of developing bylaws and organizational structure with a strategic plan to obtain a 501c3 nonprofit charitable status by 2025.

In January 2024, Jobseekers Network established a brick and mortar Quest Youth Development Center located at 200 East Lake Avenue in New Carlisle, Ohio. Programming at Quest Youth Development Center includes mentoring, leadership, education, and career development.

Quest means a search or pursuit made to find or obtain something. Going on a quest means a long search for something that is difficult to find, or an attempt to achieve something difficult. The youth we serve have been on a quest without a tour guide, without a roadmap, and having little to no idea how to navigate the paths in front of them.

Our tour guides are more than just mentors that meet youth once a week for an hour or two during the school year. Our tour guides are direct services professionals that focus on meeting the needs of the youth we serve so they may create a road map and navigate the paths in front of them in healthy sustainable way.
