Being a Tutor for Remove the Borders is a great opportunity to gain volunteer hours while learning about how socioeconomic status, learning disabilities, and learning delays can hold students back.

Dates on when you tutor will be worked out between you and the person you are tutoring. The minimum amount of sessions you have to tutor is three. You will receive all your service hours only after you complete three tutoring sessions.

If you decide to tutor someone with a learning disability, you will be required to get trained. There will be a instructor that will train you and help you understand the learning disability. You will get service hours from these training sessions. After your training, you will tutor someone with a learning disability.

Mission Statement

Remove the Borders is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to removing borders in education. By providing free tutoring, spreading awareness, and distributing articles, we aim to help all children succeed in their academic pursuits regardless if they have a learning disability, delay, or come from a lower socio economic status.
