PlasticFreeRestaurants is looking for an amazing Volunteer Social Media Manager to join our small but mighty team to help us spread our message.

PlasticFreeRestaurants.org eliminates single-use plastic in restaurants and schools by subsidizing the purchase of reusable replacements. In our first three years, we eliminated over 10 Million single-use plastic items in 100+ schools & restaurants across 10 states. We pay zero salaries and zero rent, and have kept overhead costs below 6% of revenue since inception.

As a self-sufficient, driven volunteer marketing manager, you will work closely with the Executive Director of the non-profit and be responsible for:

* Creating and managing social media content and campaigns across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
* Engaging with our online community and responding to comments and inquiries
* Monitoring and analyzing the performance and impact of our marketing efforts
* Providing feedback and suggestions for improvement

To be a successful volunteer marketing manager, you should have:

* A passion for environmental issues and a commitment to our cause
* Experience in marketing, communication, or a related field
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Creativity and the ability to create your own social media graphics using freely available tools
* Proficiency in social media tools and analytics
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Availability for at least 2 hours per week
