The Plus One Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit committed to enriching the lives of people with neurological conditions.

We fund classes, workshops and life experiences that are proven to assist people on their path to rehabilitation and recovery but are rarely covered by insurance. Some examples include aquatic therapy, adaptive yoga, martial arts, and therapeutic horseback riding.

Plus One is currently seeking volunteers to assist with a fitness challenge designed to promote wellness, raise awareness, and raise funds for the foundation and the people we serve.

The campaign is called Hit The Deck. For two weeks, participants will challenge themselves to meet a fitness and wellness goal. It could be running a certain number of miles, swimming laps, lifting weights, or even meditation. Participants are encouraged to share their wellness journey with their network and invite them to donate to the foundation in support of our mission. We’ll award prizes throughout the campaign to folks who are participating to celebrate our achievements.

Plus One is currently seeking volunteers to assist on the campaign with the following tasks:

• Reaching out to businesses to ask for donations that will be given as prizes to participants throughout the campaign

• Assisting with the creation and distribution of marketing materials

• Coordinating logistics with campaign participants

• Following up and thanking participants for their involvement

Plus One is based in Seattle, but our staff and the people we serve live across the country.

Volunteer work will be primarily remote, and people are encouraged to apply regardless of their location.
