2025 Highland Games & Scottish Festival

The 2025 Highland Games and Scottish Festival will be at the Thomas Point Beach Campground on 16 + 17 August 2025!

Our games will host amazing strength athletes, highland dancers, Scottish clans, historical societies, cultural vendors, piping and drums and much more. This year we are excited to welcome the Scottish Heavy Athletics Mens World Championship and Outlander star, Graham McTavish direct from the UK!

Spend the Games with us!

Our festival is run by volunteers and we are looking for eager volunteers to help us set up the games on 14+ 15 August, work the games on 16 + 17 August and help clean up and break down on 18 August.

Positions include:

  • Venue set up and break down - setting up tents, tables, helping clean sites after the games
  • Front Gate - help us collect tickets and greet out guests
  • Athletics - help us with our athletic competitions, and provide assistance to our athletic teams.
  • Water stations - help keep our visitors and crew hydrated!
  • VIP Patron and Sponsors Tent Greeter - help our special guests feel welcome at the games
  • Golf Cart Duty - help guests in need of travel assistance move around the property
  • Merchandise Table - help us raise money by selling our official merchandise!

If you are interested, please reach out to us at volunteer@mainehighlandgames.org and let us know your availability. If you have skills that align with a particular position, please let us know so we can do our best to align your skills with our open positions.

Volunteers will be expected to take part in pre-festival meetings with our Games team and Volunteer coordinator.

We look forward to hearing from you!
