Are you a certified Reiki Master looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals receiving palliative and hospice care? Our organization is seeking a compassionate and experienced Reiki practitioner to volunteer their time providing Reiki sessions to patients in need of comfort and support during their end-of-life journey. We at First Health Hospice serve the Dupage, Cook, and Kane county areas. With a home office in Oak Brook.
Volunteer responsibilities:
- Provide Reiki sessions to individuals in palliative and hospice care settings
- Offer a calming and supportive presence to patients and their families
- Coordinate with the hospice care team to schedule sessions and ensure patient comfort and safety
Requirements:
- Certified Reiki Master with a strong understanding of energy healing and its benefits
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with the ability to provide comfort to individuals facing end-of-life challenges
- Respect for patient confidentiality and privacy
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with hospice care team members
- Completion of virtual volunteer training prior to field service
