NPAWS is seeking an experienced and proven volunteer UX/UI Front End Designer/Eng to help with all web requirements for our Pet Positive Veterinary Clinic Certification Program. The role will be instrumental in developing pages, forms, payment interfaces, integrations, etc. required for the online certification process. This resource will also be expected to review the current website and upgrade the pages and or code as advised by our team.

This is an opportunity to expand your knowledge using tools and sharing knowledge. Being the bridge between Marketing and Tech, and gets to work with the product/software lifecycle and helping create a beautiful brand for NPAWS.

The online Pet Positive Veterinary Clinic certification will require payment mechanisms (Stripe and Donorbox) to be incorporated. Experience with Wix and Hubspot is preferred.

What is needed:

Knows how to read and write JavaScript, HTML/CSS code. Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Canva etc., typically known by those in UI/UX, would be a plus. Experience with Web or MERN-Stack/Full-Stack projects is not required, but if present, it covers much of what we need

The NPAWS Pet Positive Movement is working to end normalized pet cruelty by saving tails, ears, claws, and more from non-therapeutic invasive procedures. Such needless actions as tail docking, ear cropping, declawing, and other antiquated traditions have no place in modern America.

Our Pet Positive Movement draws veterinarians, businesses, and other Pet Positive people and organizations together to end this normalized pet cruelty in the United States.

​NPAWS is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. We are 100% volunteer run and based in Austin, TX.
