About Our Organization: We are a devoted non-profit organization that provides basketball-focused programs and technology access to underserved youth, primarily in minority communities. Our basketball, technology, and access programs represent our commitment to creating positive societal change throughout our community. Our Career Assist Program empowers individuals to achieve their full potential through personalized coaching, skill development, and access to resources to assist with job preparedness and career transitions.

We seek a passionate and experienced Career Assist Coach to join our team. In this role, you will utilize our Jobtimize platform to connect, track, and guide individuals toward career paths and opportunities that are right for them. You will work closely with participants to understand their unique goals, strengths, and challenges and leverage Jobtimize's powerful tools to support their career development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Access participants' Jobtimize profiles and generate career planning reports to inform your guidance
• Guide participants toward the right training/course choices for their ideal careers
• Gain direct connections and tracking with employers offering opportunities that fit the candidates you support
• Use Jobtimize to introduce participants to the right employers and opportunities for development and work
• .Navigate effortlessly through the Jobtimize "Guider Portal" Dashboard to manage your caseload
• .Invite, categorize, and update people in your database to ensure accurate tracking
• .View and share statistical graphs and outcome reports to demonstrate impact
• Create notifications and reminders for yourself, your team, and those receiving your support
• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to provide expert advice, encouragement, and accountability
• Teach participants job search strategies and skills, including resume writing, networking, and interviewing
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our coaching program and Jobtimize platform

Requirements:

• Some experience in counseling, human resources, business, or related field
• Some experience in career coaching, counseling, recruiting, talent development or related roles
• Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate individuals to achieve their professional goals
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and leverage Jobtimize's features
• Commitment to helping others succeed and passion for our mission
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a remote team
