The role of the Logistics Volunteer is to support Operations Staff in the International
Headquarters. The Logistics Volunteer is responsible for assisting with Needs Assessments,
weekly rate requests, shipping documents, and Operating Manuals to cargo container and
airfreight recipients. Their role is to support the Operations team with tasks related to the Cargo
Program to assist Project C.U.R.E. in delivering 225 shipments to over 50 countries.

Responsibilities:
The Logistics Volunteer is responsible for the areas of:
* Submitting weekly rate request to our pool of freight forwarders and maintaining the
rate request tracking sheet on a weekly basis.
* Management of shipping documentation including preparing final shipping document
packages via DHL.
* Create and send USB drives with operating manuals for biomedical equipment on a per
shipment/facility basis.
* Conduct freight forwarder research and identify new freight forwarders Project C.U.R.E.
could use for our international shipments.
* Other tasks as assigned by the Operations team.
The Logistics Volunteer works closely with the Director of Logistics and Project Manager.
