Office Support Administrator

The Opportunity

This role supports the Admin and Program & Services team by packaging and mailing out education literature requests to our community. This program helps people living with Parkinson’s live well by empowering them with knowledge about Parkinson’s disease and how to manage their symptoms. We also provide educational information to caregivers and medical professionals. This role will collaborate with the Admin team to ensure materials are delivered in a timely manner .

Your Contribution

As a n Office Support Administrator, your people-skills, attention to detail , and talent for organizing make you excellent internal support . You enjoy administrative tasks understanding that your actions have a huge impact . Some duties include:

  • Organizing educational literature and print resources

  • Fulfilling orders

  • Packaging items for post pick up

  • Other admin tasks as needed

What is Needed to Succeed in this Role

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail  

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  

  • Ability to lift 10-15 pounds

  • Ability to commute to the Toronto office: 316 - 4211 Yonge Street , Toronto, Ontario

  • Able to dedicate the amount of time required to successfully execute the role  

  • Able to meet deadlines

Commitment

There is no set end date to this position, we are looking for a volunteer interested in a longer-term opportunity. Hours a flexible but a weekly commitment would be ideal, 1 full day or two part days, however happy to work with your schedule.
