ORGANIZATION: Perkins

Perkins School for the Blind mission is to help people with disabilities find their place in the world.

We are looking for a volunteer to help us transform raw iPhone footage into engaging social media videos. You should have experience in video editing either on an iPhone (CapCut, InShot, etc) or a computer (Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro). You will be responsible for trimming, editing, and captioning the videos, and returning them in a timely manner. This is also an opportunity to learn additional accessibilty skills from experts in the field! This is intended to be a remote position with flexible hours. Please provide examples of your work. Requirements: Experience in video editing; Strong creative and artistic skills; Ability to work under tight deadlines; Excellent communication skills. Preferred skills: Experience in accessible social media content (Captions, Audio Description); Familiarity with disability advocacy; Familiarity with rising social media trends
