Triumph's all-inclusive handcycling clinic will introduce the activity to people with disabilities and their families, allowing participants to try riding various types of cycles. Handcycling is an adapted form of traditional cycling, with cycles that are hand cranked, and can be done for leisure or competition.
This clinic will welcome 20-30 participants, Triumph brings 15-20 adapted cycles for attendees to enjoy, and everyone that attends can try riding the cycles - whether they have a disability or not.
This event will take place on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at the Santa Maria YMCA located at 3400 Skyway Drive, Santa Maria, CA 93455 from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
Some of the volunteer assignments include:
- Setup
- Registration
- Equipment
- Transfer Team
- Cycle the Trail
- Tear Down
