Join us to help raise funds for shelter pets! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and helps us continue our mission of saving shelter pets from euthanasia in overpopulated areas such as Oklahoma, north Texas and Central valley of California! Groups of volunteers welcome! Wednesday and Thursday 8a-12p and 12p-4p volunteers needed to help unpack boxed yard sale items and put them in the correct areas. A light lunch and drinks are provided! Friday-Sunday are sale dates 7a-11a and 11a-2p a few volunteers are needed to help carry customer's items to their cars, reorganize tables as things are bough. Sunday 2pm-6pm volunteers needed to help pack away unsold items. Volunteers get to shop first! If you love a good yard sale this is the volunteer opportunity for you! Mission Statement
The mission of Furry Freight Shelter Transport is to save lives by providing transport for dogs and cats from overpopulated areas to areas of high demand to reduce the euthanasia rate of adoptable pets.
Description
We are a small organization that started in 2018. Our main program is our shelter program where we transport dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters in California to shelters in the Pacific Northwest where they have the space. This program reduces euthanasia of adoptable pets and brings people and pets together in their new location.
