THIS IS A FIRST! BE PART OF IT! We will be clearing the litter from RESEDA BLVD starting from RINALDI all the way to VENTURA BLVD - 9 miles of street all in a 2 hour period with a large team of volunteers.
Why: volunteers who want to help to get the streets clean and send a message that if we work together, we can accomplish amazing things!
Who: Volunteers Cleaning Communities is a community-based organization focused on helping make the world around us a better, cleaner, environmental friendly, litter-free place. With the help of amazing community volunteers, we organize cleaning events to clean our local streets.
What to Expect:
Cleaning litter from the curb, sidewalk and bushes along the entire corridor of Reseda Blvd. from Rinaldi in the NORTH to Ventura Blvd in the SOUTH.
You will be assigned a street /section after registration and be assigned a partner to work with as you start at 8:30am to clean both sides of the assigned street going east and west - ridding the curb, sidewalk and planters of all litter.
The volunteers can be an individual or sign up as teams of 6 volunteers. Thye will be provided all equipment for the clean up and will be assigned a specific section of the Boulevard to clean of litter.
Secure bags and please in an easy pick up location.
What's Required:
Registration is mandatory in order to assign streets and have enough equipment at each station.
Show up before the scheduled time in order to get teamed up, be issued equipment and find out their assigned secrion of Reseda Blvd. to clean.

With the help of amazing community volunteers, we organize cleaning events to clean our local streets of litter and through the Adopt A Highway Program we clean a 3 1/2 mile section of the 118 Freeway from the on and off ramp of Tampa to the on and off ramp of Balboa both the north and south sides.
