The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles is celebrating its 45th year with a gala dance and dinner party honoring California State Senator, Alex Padilla, and Angela Padilla. Volunteers are needed for event set up; check in; greeting; silent auction monitoring and silent auction check out; event strike.

The Gala Party follows the Solid Gold Concert: The Music of Aretha, Dionne and Whitney at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Volunteers may not get to see the Solid Gold concert because they will be working. But every volunteer will get a ticket to attend the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles Holiday Concert at the Saban Theatre December 2024. Parking, rest breaks and meal will be provided for volunteers.

Schedule:

Volunteer call times - to be determined between 12 and 1 pm with shifts to be determined

2 - 4:30 pm - Concert check-in and silent auction monitoring; photo area monitoring; party set up

5:15 to 9:30 pm - Gala Dinner featuring special performances, dancing, and silent auction honoring California State Senator, Alex Padilla. Volunteers will help with greeting; party check in; photo area monitoring; silent auction monitoring and check out; and event strike.
