About LaCrescent Animal Rescue

Location:

523 S Chestnut St, LaCrescent, MN 55947, US

Mission Statement

To provide consistent and compassionate care to stray and homeless dogs and cats in the LaCrescent area.

Description

We are a No-Kill Rescue Shelter

Established in 2005, La Crescent Animal Rescue (LAR) is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the protection and welfare of animals in La Crescent, Minnesota.

We are a committed to providing a no-kill shelter, which means we are always seeking volunteers and foster homes as well as permanent homes for our animals.

La Crescent Animal Rescue continues to endure largely due to our wonderful, passionate, committed team of volunteers. Volunteers help create a safe, healthy and more enjoyable experience for our animals while greatly easing the workload required to maintain our no-kill rescue shelter. Volunteering also provides the chance to make new friends, both four-legged and two-legged, and help spread the word about the mission of the shelter, fundraising events, and the animals available for adoption.
