Live Music Event - Indivisible, a part of our MAKE SOME NOISE season

Save to Favorites

On October 16th and 17th, 2024 MUSE/IQUE will present our live music event at The Huntington. This is a great opportunity to be a part of our MAKE SOME NOISE season.

In dark and uncertain times, music has always given us the courage of conviction. With his presidency plagued by war and civil unrest, Abraham Lincoln often turned to music for comfort, encouragement, and hope. Though he neither sang nor played an instrument, Lincoln once said: "Listening to melody, every man becomes his own poet, and measures the depth of his own nature." Join us for our invigorating season finale, where we examine the impact of music on Lincoln's soul. This triumphant performance recognizes the power art has to unite us and inspire us to keep marching forward.

Mission Statement

All human beings deserve the opportunity to have their imaginations and understanding expanded through active engagement with inspired live music. MUSE/IQUE pioneers new musical experiences for people by creating curated live music events and outreach programs, all aimed at inspiring the creative spirit, engaging the community imagination, and fostering new generations of music lovers.

MUSE/IQUE is a member-supported, nonprofit performing arts organization making radically engaging live music experiences accessible for all. Built on a tradition of community and collaboration, we create events that feature an eclectic mix of artists and artistic disciplines in unconventional locations-spaces where art typically does not happen. MUSE/IQUE creates transformative musical adventures and illuminates the music that shapes our lives. By reimagining the traditional format of the live classical orchestral experience, Artistic Director Rachael Worby seamlessly blends musical performances with researched curation. Our mission is to build empathy and expand imaginations through transformative live events and strong partnerships with fellow nonprofit organizations in Pasadena and the greater Los Angeles area.

We need the help of volunteers to act as way finders and front of house support, engaging with guests to elevate their experience.
