Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate volunteer to join our team as a Brand Designer. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute your creative skills and expertise to an organization committed to social impact and cultural transformation. As a Brand Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of Six Feet Film, helping to communicate our mission and values through compelling design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Brand Development: Work closely with the leadership team to develop and refine the visual identity of Six Feet Film, incorporating design trends and innovations from 2023-2024.
• Graphic Design: Create visually stunning graphics for a variety of platforms, including social media, marketing materials, website design, and merchandise, utilizing the latest design techniques and technologies.
• Collateral Design: Design promotional materials such as posters, flyers, banners, and digital ads to support our film projects and events, incorporating current design trends to ensure relevance and impact.
• Content Creation: Generate engaging visual content to share behind-the-scenes glimpses of our filmmaking process, highlight our impact stories, and promote upcoming releases, staying attuned to emerging design trends in content creation.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including filmmakers, writers, and marketing specialists, to ensure consistency and alignment across all branding efforts, integrating contemporary design trends into collaborative projects.

Qualifications:

• Graphic Design Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools, with awareness of design trends in 2023-2024.
• Creativity: Strong creative vision and the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs, incorporating current design trends and innovations.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, polished work, with an understanding of contemporary design aesthetics.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale, with an awareness of evolving communication trends.
• Collaborative Spirit: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team, integrating contemporary design trends into collaborative projects.
• Passion for Film: A passion for storytelling and a desire to use your design skills to make a positive impact through film, with an understanding of the role of design in enhancing cinematic experiences.

Time Commitment: Part-time, flexible hours (approximately 10-15 hours per week).
