PARKINSON SOCIETY BRITISH COLUMBIA

Parkinson Society British Columbia (PSBC) is a non-profit organization established in 1969 and is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. It is supported by donations from individuals, members, corporations, foundations, and the dedicated efforts of volunteers. Our mission is to empower the Parkinson's community in British Columbia by providing resources and services to enable self-management, self-reliance, and self-advocacy.

PARKINSON SUPERWALK

Join us for Parkinson Society British Columbia's largest fundraising event of the year, Parkinson SuperWalk! Beginning the weekend of September 7 & 8 incredible British Columbians in more than 20 communities throughout the province will walk together to help give hope to approximately 17,500 people in BC living with Parkinson's disease.

Parkinson SuperWalk is the single most important awareness and fundraising event for Parkinson Society BC and its national partner, Parkinson Canada. Since 1990, SuperWalk has provided a platform for increasing awareness of the needs of those affected by Parkinson's disease. Funds raised support PSBC's programs, support services, advocacy efforts, and contributions to research.

We are looking for motivated volunteers to support our staff at the Vancouver walk on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Volunteers would be onsite from 6:45am to 1:00pm, with varying shifts depending on the role.

Below are the roles available:

  • Set-up Assistants
  • Course Marshals
